Well, i for one, found that article very interesting and informative. Like you, i tend to slide around like water, unlike my now-deceased partner of many years who liked nothing better than a multi-generational feud over not much. It should come as no surprise to learn that i was born and raised in Canada. He on the other hand, was a Belfast man. An asphalt fan.
Thank you for your comment and good opinion on the article.
It's a matter of temperament, it seems: if as a gardener I have always managed to escape conflict, as the owner of a small plot of land I am forced to turn to a lawyer to deal with the attacks of my lousy neighbour, after eight years of difficult cohabitation. The technique of water slipping between stones has unfortunately not worked this time....
I also have somewhat of a problem with a near neighbour but my neighbour on the other side has stepped in and made a complaint to the relevant authority. I am waiting to see the result of this opening gambit. Hohum.
Now i will start going back and reading your gardening columns. My mind is turning to porridge with too much politics/covid.
Hope you'll find something interesting. Beware as I wrote something "political" too, several months ago!

We live on the antipodes, still we have something in common.
As they use to say: the whole world is a village :)
